Ornithodorus gurneyi (kangaroo tick) - mouth parts on ventral surface, a soft tick which can also attack humans causing temporary blindness and nausea. This tick is found in the drier inland parts of Australia and has a mammalated body, eyes and festoons and long mouth parts with an anal groove distinct behind anus.
